If you are an avid gamer and like playing mobile games on PC, BlueStacks is one of the premier Android emulators. With BlueStacks 5 being the current version, are there plans for BlueStacks 6?

BlueStacks 5 is a powerful emulator that gives you access to mobile games directly on your computer. It’s one of our favorite Android emulators out there.

But, as the software development cycle goes, BlueStacks (the company) is always looking to improve its product.

That often entails pushing software updates to current versions, but occasionally, it means releasing a whole new product. In this case, BlueStacks 6.

When does BlueStacks 6 release?

At present, there is no publically available release date scheduled for BlueStacks 6. But we can make some educated guesses.

BlueStacks 3 released in 2017. After that, BlueStacks 4 released in mid 2019. BlueStacks 5 released in May 2021.

If we go by that release schedule, we could see BlueStacks 6 as early as 2023. That said, due to shutdowns and other events over the past two years, that could potentially be pushed back to 2024.

The company has also been putting effort into BlueStacks 10 (X), its cloud-based solution, but we’re not sure that will affect the release of BlueStacks 6.

Obviously, if there is going to be a new version of the emulator, it must include new features, right?

Most likely, yes! This could include new ways to create multiple instances of your BlueStacks emulator or better optimization for lower-end PCs.

Additionally, BlueStacks 6 could provide compatibility across more types of computers. While BlueStacks 5 can work on Linux and Mac, it isn’t necessarily friendly.

A future BlueStacks version could include better support for those systems.

BlueStacks 6 could be the best Android emulator yet

Using an Android emulator to play mobile games on PC is still one of the best ways to do it.

While Windows 11 does have some increased capabilities when it comes to that, it isn’t great. Emulators like BlueStacks still reign supreme.

So, if you are enjoying BlueStacks 5, but love keeping up with the latest news, hopefully, this quick BlueStacks 6 guide has helped.
