Pokémon Go runs pretty smoothly on most modern phones, but is there a way to increase the framerate (FPS) to make it look even better?
We’ll cut to the chase. No, there is no way to increase the FPS in Pokémon Go. You can unlock your phone’s native refresh rate, which can improve the experience.
One important thing to remember about this is that you need to make sure your phone is up to the task if you plan on unlocking the native refresh rate.
Increasing your refresh rate will put more strain on your phone (and possibly heat it up).
Because of this, you’re going to want to make sure you have a newer phone or tablet before doing this. Once you are confident with your device, read on for the how-to.
