Dungeons & Dragons is a beloved pastime for many people. But can that experience transfer over to the gacha world? Dragonheir: Silent Gods sure hopes so.

This new D&D-inspired gacha game is set to release September 19. From the open world that players can explore to the character designs, everything has a thick coat of high fantasy paint and definitely looks interesting.

Combat is grid-based and seems like a blend of sRPGs and auto-battlers. There are also dungeons that players can explore, and combat here is similar to tower defense games like Arknights.

When exploring the world, the game uses an isometric camera and reminds us quite a bit of games like Diablo.

Obtainable characters in the game look stunning and definitely keep true to the high fantasy feel that is present throughout the game.

Hopefully actually getting these characters won’t be a completely pay-to-win experience, but we’re not holding our breath.

It will be interesting to see how much Nuverse, the company behind the game, leans into its clearly Dungeons & Dragons-inspired world. The iconic D20 dice is used in much of the marketing material, and some choices are made using a D4 in gameplay footage we’ve seen. But, besides that, we’re still doing some research to learn more.

Regardless, the game looks interesting and is definitely one that is staying on our radar for its September 19 release.

Dragonheir: Silent Gods releases on September 19 for Android, iOS, emulators like BlueStacks, and Steam.
