HoYoverse loves to release its games to as many people as possible. Now, it is bringing Honkai Impact 3rd to the Epic Games Store.
Announced this week, the six-year-old mobile game will find a new home on Epic’s platform. Honkai Impact 3rd was already on Android, iOS, and through a dedicated PC launcher.
Honkai Impact 3rd is an action RPG that first released on mobile. It features fast-paced gameplay, a ton of characters to choose from, and an in-depth story.
Of course, it is a gacha game, which means that to get the best characters and weapons, you’ll either need to get extremely lucky or open your wallet.
When does Honkai Impact 3rd release on Epic Games Store?
We’re still waiting on an official release date. But players that play on Epic Games Store will receive a limited-time special reward.
That probably means a rare character or possibly a new skin for an existing character.
It’s a bit interesting to release the game on the Epic Games Store so far into its lifespan. That said, we imagine that HoYoverse is hoping to bring some new players to the series before Honkai: Star Rail releases.
Honkai Impact 3rd is an extremely popular game with some fun characters and solid action. If you’ve never checked it out, it is definitely worth spending a bit of time in the huge world HoYoverse has created.
