BlueStacks 5 is one of our favorite Android emulators, as it gives us access to a ton of games. But what happens when we want to share footage from some of those games? Can you screen record in BlueStacks 5?

While smartphones from companies like Apple and Samsung often include built-in screen recording functionality, the same can’t be said for BlueStacks.

It is something the company has said it is working on, but sadly, it still isn’t available. Because of this, screen recording on BlueStacks 5 is slightly more difficult.

We say slightly because, thankfully, Windows PCs have a couple of easy-to-use options when it comes to screen recording.

We’ll walk you through our favorite two options below.

If you want even more control with GeForce, you can also set up Instant Replay.

This awesome feature lets you record a set amount of minutes prior to pushing the button. It’s perfect for times when you did something awesome but couldn’t set up the recording feature ahead of time.

Recording BlueStacks doesn’t have to be complicated

If you want to screen record in BlueStacks, it’s good to know that you have options.

As we’ve outlined above, Xbox Game Bar and GeForce Experience are our favorite ways of accomplishing that task.
