HoYoverse and mobile game fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Honkai: Star Rail, but is the game also coming to consoles?
We already know the game will be on Android, iOS, and PC. And now, thanks to a new roadmap, we know that Honkai: Star Rail is releasing on PlayStation 5 later in 2023.
Is Honkai: Star Rail on PlayStation?
HoYoverse’s Genshin Impact is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, leading many to believe a similar release pattern for Star Rail.
Now, after various HoYoverse announcements, we can confirm Honkai: Star Rail is coming to PlayStation 5.
A pre-launch promotion all but proved the game would be available on PlayStation 5. But this confirmation is definitely nice.
When signing up for the beta, a sign-up splash screen advertised a giveaway that included a PS5.
Is Honkai: Star Rail coming to Xbox?
At this time, it isn’t looking good for Xbox One and Series X|S owners. HoYoverse has made zero indications that it will release its hit turn-based RPG on Microsoft consoles.
Regardless, we’re happy to see the game coming to PlayStation. The turn-based RPG looks great and does have some open-world elements that make exploring with a controller nice.
Being able to comfortably play on your couch will be so great.
