Yesterday, the first Wuthering Waves teaser trailer was released, and now, an official gameplay trailer for the upcoming mobile game is available.
Wuthering Waves is still in early development, which means we probably won’t see a release until at least late 2023, or early 2024. But in the meantime, we can at least enjoy what this open-world game could become once it does release.
Kuro Game, the studio behind Wuthering Waves and Punishing: Gray Raven, is known for its engaging combat mechanics. Those seem to be on full display in the trailer.
Check out the Wuthering Waves gameplay trailer below:
As you can see from the trailer, the game combines some extremely fluid exploration mechanics with fast-paced combat. It’s really a win-win in our books.
Obviously, with a game like this, comparisons are going to be made to other titles. Specifically, Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy.
First, there is always room for more competitors and competition is a good thing. Second, Genshin Impact will be in its 4th year by the time this game comes out and who knows where ToF will be.
Overall, Wuthering Waves looks promising. It has an awesome aesthetic and its exploration mechanics look like a blast. That’s a winning combo in our books and we can’t wait to see more.
