Diablo Immortal has not been received kindly, but apparently, it is still raking in the money. New reports show that the mobile game made a whopping $24 million during its first 14 days.

The news comes from Pocket Gamer.biz. The outlet notes that spending across Apple’s App Store and Google’s Play Store is pretty close. iOS users spent $13 million on the game, while Android users spent $11 million.

America led in spending, with 43% of revenue coming from the US. South Korea landed in second place at 24%, with Japan and Germany making up 8% and 6% respectively.

It’s an interesting revelation. Diablo Immortal was quickly panned for its predatory monetization practices. That said, the excitement of a new game most likely had people spending heavily during the game’s first week.

For one reason, that was during the honeymoon period of the game and before its monetization methods became well-documented.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see much Diablo Immortal makes in the weeks ahead. However, we can’t imagine it will ever hit $23 million in a 14-day period again.
