Genshin Impact has made over $3.7 billion in two years

Realistically, that number is higher, as this only accounts for mobile spending.

Genshin Impact is one of the biggest games out there. Now, data from Sensor Tower reveals that the game has earned $3.7 billion.

In May, that number was at $3 billion, but with the release of Sumeru and some great new gacha characters, Genshin Impact is continuing to propel forward.

What makes these stats even more interesting is the fact that this only takes into account money spent by mobile players on the App Store and Google Play.

Currently, PlayStation and PC players aren’t calculated in these stats. Additionally, services like Razer Gold aren’t tallied, either.

That means that spending could be over $4 billion at this point.

According to the Sensor Tower report, China accounts for $1.2 billion on iOS alone. Japan and the US hold the second and third spots.

Surprisingly, these numbers don’t even put the hit gacha game in the lead. Honor of Kings made over $5.5 billion over the last two years, and PUBG Mobile clocks in at $4.9 billion.

Genshin Impact continues to put out new content and HoYoverse has even announced that new content will be released on a five-week schedule going forward. That’s an improvement over the six-week schedule prior.

That will be a great way to keep players engaged in the growing mobile game, so it will be interesting to see where these numbers are next year.
