No surprises here.

Nikke: Goddess of Victory’s Chainsaw Man collab recently ended and, unsurprisingly, it was a huge boon for the game.

According to AppMagic, a website that tracks revenue and other app stats, Nikke earned an estimated $24 million ($24.7 to be exact) during the course of the event.

The Chainsaw Man collab took place from February 22 to March 15.

Of course, the entire $24 million isn’t directly attached to Chainsaw Man banners, but it is definitely a large indicator that the collab was popular.

As expected, Japan dominated in terms of sales, accounting for approximately 66% of overall revenue during the event.

The Nikke Chainsaw Man collab trumps previous event revenue, but ultimately we’re not that surprised. Chainsaw Man is a huge IP with a ton of fans.

Bringing iconic characters like Power, Makima, and Himeno was sure to draw a crowd. That said, many players felt the storyline and playable characters of the event were “ok” at best.

In regards to playable characters, Power is really the only one that has actual meta potential, as she performs well in boss battles.

Regardless, it is good to see how popular the event was. That should entice other companies to do collaborations with the fun almost-idle game.

Who would you like to see Nikke collab with next? We’ve been debating that in our Slack group, and we could definitely see an Attack on Titan collab at some point.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is available on AndroidiOS, and emulators like BlueStacks.
