Marvel Snap has been a huge hit since its release, thanks in part to some of the truly awesome art available on its digital trading cards.
Collecting cards and their variant designs are one of our favorite parts of the game. And we continue to see new designs that we love.
Sadly, we only have but so much money, so we’ve had to be really selective about which ones we buy.
So, instead of just sharing screenshots of the ones we would buy, we decided to turn this into content. Here are some of our favorite Marvel Snap card designs so far.
Our favorite Marvel Snap cards (based on looks)
Look, we’re not saying these are the best cards to play with in Marvel Snap. We just think the artwork on these should be appreciated by more people.
Blade (Alternate variant)

Josiah: We’re still trying to find a spot for Blade in our deck, but this variant absolutely deserves a spot on this list.
Misty Knight (Pixel variant)

Chance: I love the classic pixel style, and who can complain about a badass detective with a bionic arm and super strength? The card doesn’t have a place in many of my decks, but it will always have a place in my heart.
Elektra (Alternate variant)

Josiah: Elektra, on the other hand, is a mainstay in my decks, and I regret not dropping some $$$ on this art style.
Cosmo (Venomized variant)

Josiah: Admittedly, all of the Venomized variants are awesome in Marvel Snap, but Cosmo has been one of our favorites so far.
Gamora (Requiem variant)

Chancelor: This card really shows off just how deadly Gamora and her sword can be. It’s a beautiful example of the Requiem Variant, thanks to its dynamic coloring.
Onslaught (Alternate variant)

Josiah: This card is just fun. Onslaught is normally such an intimidating presence (in both Marvel Snap and the comics), so the cartoonish drawing and bright colors really stick out here.
Lady Sif (Alternate variant)

Chancelor: The playful art on this card is everything you want from a lighthearted comic style, and it shows a bit of the fun you get in Marvel Snap. Now, if I could only get a good discard deck built…
Medusa (Chibi art style)

Josiah: The Chibi art style is very hit-or-miss with people, and the same is true for Marvel Snap. But this Medusa variant looks surprisingly awesome.
Jubilee (Alternate variant)

Josiah: We love this take on Jubilee. Even though we don’t use her often, this card is one of our favorites.
Marvel Snap cards look great and we hope that continues
While we love the gameplay in Marvel Snap, one thing we hope the developers keep up with is the addition of new variant card styles.
We both grew up reading comics and consuming all things superheroes, so this game has really been a trip down nostalgia lane, as well.
Seeing our favorite characters in fun, unique art styles has been a blast, and we can’t wait to see what the shop refreshes to tomorrow.
