Pokémon Go just celebrated its June 2022 Community Day and now Niantic has announced the next Community day taking place in July. If you are a fan of Flying-type Pokémon, then you are in luck.

Pokémon Go’s July 2022 Community Day will take place on July 17 and feature Starly. Players planning on participating can expect a huge increase in spawns for Starly. Additionally, the fully-evolved version, Staraptor, will know the Fast Attack Gust.

Remember, you’ll need to evolve Starly to Staraptor during the event to claim the special Community Day move.

For players looking to get even more out of Community Day, you’ll be able to purchase a Special Research assigned for $1.00 USD that includes missions made specifically for Community Day.

Also, as an added bonus, Niantic has made it possible to gift this Special Research to friends. This is a really nice feature for players trying to get friends back into the game, or simply to show appreciation to your raid buddies.

For players that take Community Day seriously, you can start making some plans now based on the bonuses for the event.

These include 3x Catch XP, 2x chance at Starly Candy XL pieces, three-hour Lure Modules, and three-hour Incense. On top of that, take snapshots of your Pokémon for surprises.

As an extra bonus, 3x Catch XP will be increased to 4x Catch Up for thirty minutes after lures after enough Pokémon are caught by players.

Finally, players that are looking to trade get one additional Special Trade and trades during the event cost 50% less dust.

Starly’s Community Day is just around the corner

We’ve been getting back into Pokémon Go in a big way and we can’t wait for the upcoming Community Day.

It’s possible that some long-time players aren’t excited for this Community Day. But, it’s important to remember that this is a mobile game and players come and go constantly. It’s good that Niantic is looking to cater to a variety of players with this type of event.

Also, don’t forget that the Pokémon Go and Pokémon TCG event is ongoing and ends in only three days.
