Marvel Snap has been my obsession since it was released. But, a Collection Level bug hindered my enjoyment of the game.
Normally, the intuitive gameplay and beautiful artwork have been a refreshing change of pace from my standard games.
Unfortunately, even with all the good things about Marvel Snap, the game inevitably has bugs and issues.
I ran into my first Marvel Snap error where card rarity upgrades were not applied, and I could not redeem Collection level-up rewards.
The error would say something went wrong and to try again in a few minutes. Even after waiting, I still received the message over and over and a fix was not applied.
Needless to say, this was a very inconvenient bug in the game. As I could not upgrade my cards, increase my Collection Level, or accept the rewards, my collection progression came to a halt.
Time needed: 5 minutes.
Here is how I fixed the ‘Something went wrong’ error in Marvel Snap:
- Confirm this error is happening
Upgrade cards and try to redeem collection level rewards. If this error is happening then you will receive the error “Something went wrong. Try again in a few minutes.”
- Return to the home screen
- Open settings menu
- Scroll down page
- Select “Sign Out” button
- Confirm sign out of account
- Update App
Check the appropriate app store for your device and make sure Marvel Snap is updated to the most recent version.
- Sign in to Marvel Snap
- Confirm error has cleared and go back to building that collection!
(If the error has not cleared, we recommend to submit a bug report to the developers.)
This Marvel Snap error held up my collection progress for a bit until I figured out how to fix it.
Hopefully, this how-to will reduce that time for you. I’ll see you in matchmaking.
