Zenless Zone Zero is one of the upcoming mobile games from HoYoverse, the studio behind Genshin Impact. But when does Zenless Zone Zero release? Will it be in 2023?
We’ll cut to the chase – Zenless Zone Zero does not have a release date as of August 2023. However, we expect a 2024 release date.
If you missed it, ZZZ is a mobile action RPG game with a heavy emphasis on the action. Early gameplay footage looks stellar, and we personally can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Additionally, during gamescom 2023, HoYoverse showcased the game and we have new gameplay footage that you can check out here.
But, plenty of games show gameplay footage months (if not years!) before it actually releases. So what does that mean for ZZZ and its release date?

Zenless Zone Zero release date: Our best estimation is mid-2024.
At present, there has been no word on when Zenless Zone Zero will come out. We originally expected a mid-2023 release, but now we’re leaning toward mid 2024.
With HoYoverse also working on Honkai: Star Rail, we believe the company will focus on its current stable of games for the remainder of 2023.
Star Rail has been a huge success for HoYoverse, so we expect the company to continue to focus on that and Genshin Impact for the time being. Releasing too many games in the same time frame could have a negative effect and pull players away from one game in favor of another.
Hopefully, we’ll find out more details soon regarding the ZZZ release date. We will continue to monitor this and update the post accordingly.
