Whiteout Survival is a new mobile survival strategy game. It is available on Android and iOS, but also through emulators like BlueStacks – and that’s what we want to talk about today.

Using BlueStacks to play mobile games on your PC opens up an entirely new way to play games. This can be especially helpful in games like Whiteout Survival, where resource management and the ability to quickly navigate through the game are important.

We’ve been really enjoying our time with the game through the BlueStacks emulator and wanted to highlight some of those aspects below.

Advantages of playing Whiteout Survival on BlueStacks

Whiteout Survival is definitely a good time regardless of where you play it, but we have found that we really enjoy playing the game through BlueStacks.

In the game, players are tasked with building up their small settlement into a massive civilization. You’ll need to manage your workforce, overcome hurdles, and conquer opposing civilizations.

Better navigation

In Whiteout Survival, one thing you are tasked with is building your settlement. Using your fingers for placing and upgrading buildings is fine, but it can be clunky, especially if you have mobility issues.

With BlueStacks, you don’t have to worry about that because you can use your actual mouse to point, click, and drag things where they are needed.

It’s also quicker to jump around through the different menus to check out different parts of the game.

See more of the action

This goes along with the above point, but still deserves its own section, in our opinion.

Whiteout Survival is a portrait-mode game. That works well with phones, but still limits how much of everything you can see in the game.

By using an emulator like BlueStacks, you get to see everything on a much larger screen. This is especially nice as your settlement continues to grow.

Saves precious battery

It’s no secret that mobile games can be a huge drain on your phone’s battery. The same can be said for Whiteout Survival.

Luckily, if you are playing the game through BlueStacks on your PC, you don’t have to worry about that at all. You can simply play for as long as you want.

We keep it running on a second monitor

This is a more niche case, but still something worth highlighting.

With how construction times work in Whiteout Survival, you’re sometimes left waiting for things to complete. We’ve started leaving the game up on a second monitor while we work.

That allows us to monitor the situation and hop over when we have time to work on our settlement. Again, this probably isn’t for everyone, but we kinda live and breathe this stuff, ya know?

If you have been looking for a new game to dive into and like the idea of building up a massive civilization to survive and thrive, Whiteout Survival checks a lot of those boxes.

It’s available now on emulators like BlueStacks, as well and Android and iOS.
